Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
Acceptance
By using Vockal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms may be updated; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Service Description
Vockal is a voice-controlled desktop automation platform. You speak commands into the mobile app, which streams audio to our server for transcription and AI processing. The resulting actions are pushed to the Vockal desktop app for execution on your computer.
Authentication
Vockal does not use passwords or traditional accounts. Authentication is based on device pairing. Your desktop generates a QR code, your mobile device scans it, and the pairing is confirmed. Device tokens are the sole credentials. You are responsible for the physical security of your paired devices.
Security
Actions executed by Vockal are authenticated using a cryptographic secret key that is generated during device pairing and stored exclusively on your mobile and desktop devices. The server never has access to this key. Your desktop will not execute any action that is not properly signed.
Certain categories of actions - including shell commands and system modifications - are permanently banned and cannot be executed regardless of authentication.
Prohibited Use
You may not use Vockal to:
- Automate actions on systems you do not own or have authorization to control
- Circumvent security restrictions or action signing requirements
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to manipulate the AI agent into performing banned actions
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through a third-party payment processor. Vockal never handles your card details directly. You may manage your subscription through the payment portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Beta Status
Vockal launches on April 1st, 2026. Features, pricing, and availability may change. The service is provided on a best-effort basis during the initial launch period.
Availability
Vockal does not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. Desktop actions depend on your computer being online and the desktop app running.
Limitation of Liability
Vockal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the service, including but not limited to unintended desktop actions, data loss, or service interruptions. You use Vockal at your own risk.
Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. You can stop using Vockal by unpairing your devices. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your device tokens are invalidated and associated data is deleted.
